The ponies are a special part of the game. In polo, they are the players' partner, and are not considered just equipment

Vischarita
Owned by the Poor Family
Otherwise known as "Crazy" or "Leaping Lizards", you can find her bounding down the Myopia polo field in the summer and Billiebo Arena in the winter!  She played in the Women's East Coast Open, summer 2018 & 2019 and most recently in the 8 goal USPA tournaments at Myopia.

Khaleesi

This "Queen" is the favorite all around horse. Bumps like no other.  Fast and turns on a dime.  Best Playing Pony in the Stage Hill Spring Tournament 2018 & 2019, and BPP in 2019 Women's East Coast Handicap.  Also played in the 2019 US Open Women's Polo Championship.

 Sammy
Owned by the Poor Family
Young, super fast, and steady.  She is the go-to horse in the higher goal tournaments!  She won Best Playing Pony in the Pink Ribbon Cup at Farmington Polo 2018, and Best Playing Pony of the Stage Hill Fall Tournament ~ Sept 2018.  Played in Women's East Coast Open 2019 & 2020, and the US Open Women's Polo Championship 2019-2022.

14 year old Argentine Thoroughbred mare from Wyoming.  Winters in Florida at Stage Hill South!  Played in the US Women's Open 2021 & 2022.

Won Best Playing Pony in both the Sunset Polo Club 2 Goal March 2021 and in the 2022 Sarasota Women's Challenge!

AKA Mallomar
Owned by Bob Guttman.
10 year old mare.  Kind and gentle personality and sure to be a go-to on the playing field.  Spent the winter at Stage Hill South where Alyson Poor played her in many tournaments, including the 30 goal WCT Finals!

One of the best arena polo ponies in the stable.  Kim's favorite mount in the polo school, and our 'peace keeper' in the paddock.

Owned by Lily Wachtel and Linda Janhunen.
She won Best Playing Pony in 2014 at the 4-Goal Tuckerman Cup at Myopia. She stops and turns on a dime.  She can be a bit bossy in the paddock, but it’s mainly for show.

Reliable, steady and handsome gelding!  The boss of the herd.  Always willing to give 2 chukkers and could probably do more!  Travels to Stage Hill South in the winters.

Tall Thoroughbred Gelding. Size 54 mallet!
Coming from Texas, Casino winters in Florida and plays in the summer at Myopia in Mass!  A super sweet gelding.

One of Peter’s favorites.  Amazing with beginner or advanced riders. Knows where to be on the field at all times.  She can be shy around people at first, but will relax when she gets to know you. Salsa's photo hangs in the Polo Museum Hall of Fame.

Khaleesi is the newest mare to the heard.  A tank on the field, as she can bump anyone from one side of the field to the other!  Size 54 mallet.

Nubs does it all from very beginner polo to advanced at the Myopia fields.  Beach rides are her specialty!  Her ears are always the center of attention!  She won Best Playing Pony @ Myopia June 2019, and BPP in the Stage Hill Fall Tournament 2019.
